A MEETING OF COORDINATORS FOR THE ACTION PLANS HELD

Within the Component 1, of the project SME IPA 2007, “Municipal planning”, in Belgrade 9th March 2001 was held a meeting of Municipal coordinators for Action plans and represents of the project SME IPA 2007.
On the base of previous the announced open call to the Municipalities, last year was signed and Memorandum of cooperation between Program of support to the municipalities of IPA 2007 and 12 local self governments in Serbia, for support of development of action plans. Goal of this meeting, according to Milan Nikolic, chief of the Department of Economy and Local Development of Nis` Municipality Palilula, was mutual exchange of experiences of Municipal coordinators and discussion about process of making Action plans of municipalities.
The meeting was attended by coordinators of 12 municipalities: Kanjiza, Kula, Koceljeva, Topola, Paracin, Raska, Bojnik, Vlasotince, Trgoviste, City Municipalities of Palilula – Nis and cities Uzice and Novi Pazar. Meeting was leaded by expert for municipal planning Milan Marjanovic and participants were experts of the project SME IPA 2007: Ljiljana Milivojevic, Slavka Zupan, Jelena Mihajlovic – Tanasijevic, Viktor Veljovic, Klaus Rihter and Nikolas Miles.
With the program of the support to the municipalities IPA 2007 – “Good administration, planning and providing services”, implemented by consortium GTZ – International Services in cooperation with Standing Conference of Towns and Municipalities (SCTM) and Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self Government, financed by European Union. Realization of the project began in January 2010 and will end on the January 2013. Project represent part of long - term technical help and support fund of grant for development of municipalities in Serbia.
